ArtSource Presents: Marcy Gregg & Bobby Logic - ArtSource Fine Art - Raleigh

Please join us for our opening night of Marcy Gregg & Bobby Logic's exhibition on March 12, 6-8pm. We will have light bites from Vivace Raleigh. Both artists will be in the gallery to introduce their newest work and are excited to meet you! The show will go on through April 4. Marcy Gregg’s distinctive artwork springs from a love of color and line. Her life was forever changed after a serious complication arose during the delivery of her third child, leaving Marcy in a coma from which there was little hope of recovery. Overcoming incredible odds, through the healing power of God, Marcy regained consciousness but lost much of her memory. Faced with the daunting task of rebuilding her identity, Marcy slowly put the pieces of her life back together, even starting her own corporate consulting business. However, she found that her gratitude for being given a second chance at life did not find expression in the confines of the corporate world. Determined to make the most of the life that had been restored to her, Gregg sold her successful business in 2006 and returned to her true passion, art. Gregg describes her paintings as “puzzles” in which line plays a crucial part. It is through an artistic process of finding “lines lost and an unexpected perspective found” that she imbues her compositions with energy. While the linework gives her art energy, it is the artist’s distinctive palette that gives her oil paintings life. Marcy’s art is found in private and corporate collections across the United States and abroadBobby Logic has traveled throughout Europe and across the United States. He currently resides in Raleigh, NC. Logic has sold numerous pieces since 1991. Logic seriously indulges in painting and music; he also is a film producer, writer, and renovator. His work was featured featured in The Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas, NV. for 2008-2009. His art has also been featured in films (The Road To Sundance, The Great Fantastic, and the TV series Bad Girls,) and is in print, on clothing, adorns products, tattoos, murals, and CDs. From Mod Gals to Big Cities, Modern Works of Art by Bobby Logic, display a changing series of figures, transportation, tranquil and upbeat places, capturing emotions as colorful and vibrant as life truly is. Each piece presents a fusion of mood and energy with motion, which allows the viewer to be pulled out of their environments into a wonderful journey of the subconscious.
