Detroit and Oakland County played important roles on the Underground Railroad! Southeast Michigan was an important area for abolitionists. They organized antislavery societies, vigilance committees, and ran stations on the Underground Railroad.Some of the greatest conductors on the Underground Railroad as well as freedom settlements were in Detroit and Oakland County.Join this tour with Black Scroll Network History & Tours' historian and Tour Leader Jamon Jordan as he leads a tour to the abolitionist Quaker and free Black settlements in Farmington as well as the Underground Railroad stations in Walled Lake & Detroit.You don't want to miss this bus tour!We will have water and snacks on the bus.We will have an hour for lunch.LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE TOUR!
