How many frames will yield honey the first year? What is a bee dance? If you have ever wanted to explore the possibility of becoming a beekeeper, this is your chance! Led by Will Merrill of Orchard Lane Apiary, this class is an introduction into the world of beekeeping and a guide for hosting your own apiary. Topics include the life of a bee, the difference between honey and beeswax, beekeeping equipment and more. Additionally, try some samples of honey from Orchard Lane Apiary located in Clintonville.
