Flippo: Better Days Ahead (Pat Metheny Tribute)

Join jazz supergroup FLIPPO featuring special guest bassist Molly Pauken for a special tribute to the music of Pat Metheny titled “Better Days Ahead: FLIPPO Plays the Music of Pat Metheny.” Metheny is a very influential musician involved in duets, solo works and other side projects, and his style incorporates elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, post-bop, Latin jazz and jazz fusion.FLIPPO is a Columbus jazz group displaying instrumental virtuosity and creative energy in the spirit of sonic colors and innovation born of the funk and jazz-rock fusion movements of the 1970s and beyond. In addition to special guest bassist Molly Pauken, the band features Michael Cox (saxophone), Dennis Hodges (guitar), Erik Augis (keyboards), and Louis Tsamous (drums).
