Come join us for this slow and beautiful Spanish partner dance. Bolero originated in Spain, and has several unique aspects. The dance was believed to have developed in the 18th century and danced to guitar and castanets; Sebastiano Carezo is credited with the original Spanish Dance. A similar dance style appeared in Cuba, and different dance forms developed. While there is some controversy over specific origins of the dance, it has a distinctly Latin heritage and several defining features.A very small group of people will be allowed take the studio in person. Masks are required, proper social distancing will be practiced. In-studio class size is limited to 10. Please Stay Home if you are sick or have a high risk of exposure.
