To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of St. John Paul II's birth and the Miracle on the Vistula, pianist Dr. Konrad Binienda and violinist Konrad Kowal will perform a free concert. For a preview, check out Dr. Binienda's performance at the Shrine Church in September 2017Dr. Binienda is a graduate of the Doctor of Musical Arts program at the Cleveland Institute of Music and an award-winning pianist. He is the winner of the First Prize of the 2017 International Chopin Competition hosted by the Fryderyk Chopin Society of Texas and a laureate of the 2010 Chopin Piano Competition sponsored by the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York. Konrad Kowal is a student at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and an indispensable part of our 10AM Polish Mass. The concert is free thanks to the support of the Charles and Helen Brown Memorial Foundation and the Cleveland Polish Constitution Day Committee. On-site secured parking is available at the Church and at Cleveland Central Catholic High School.
