Sweet Potato Day

Saturday, October 26th is Sweet Potato Day at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market (1801 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte, NC 28217). Sweet Potatoes are the official State Vegetable for North Carolina, because our farmers produce about 50% of the total crop for North America. Our vendors will be passing out free sweet potato recipes today from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, so that your family can enjoy this nutrition packed root vegetable. We have orange, white, and even purple sweet potatoes perfect for any side dish, main meal or dessert.
